Having been inspired by the cool things a good friend was producing with their laser cutter, I decided after much deliberation to buy my own.

Having worked in it for years I found a lack of tactile output missing in my career. It’s nice producing websites that people can interact with but I wanted to be able to produce an actual item that could be picked up and utilised for a task or as a decorative piece.

Being able to be create things on a computer and have them physical created in front of  your eyes is a magical experience. Having in my time been a reasonably accomplished wood turner and having also been involved with traditional rural crafts whilst at college, connecting all these pieces together in the form of laser cutting and engraving just seemed to hit the right note.

And so my journey has begun
